What We Care About

SG is helping close the literacy gap in urban areas including Detroit. Selam Sanders currently serves on the Board of Beyond Basics, a nonprofit dedicated to one-on-one reading intervention and holistic literacy enrichment programs. Beyond Basics, proven methods have unlocked the miracle and power of reading and opened a whole new world and future to those who need it most.

Autism is a broad term used to describe a group of neurodevelopmental disorders. These disorders are characterized by problems with communication and social interaction. Autism is found in individuals around the world, regardless of race, culture, or economic background. Selam Sanders has firsthand knowledge about Autism with her younger brother.

Our enthusiasm for youth sports and amateur athletics is boundless, deeply rooted in the transformative experience Derron Sanders had as a child when he joined a little league football team. This pivotal moment not only changed his life for the better but also instilled in him the invaluable lessons of teamwork and sportsmanship.
